New Mexico Nonprofit Impact Report
Nonprofits are more than service providers — they’re a core part of what keeps New Mexico’s communities going. They bring roughly $2 billion into the state through grants, contracts, and donations, employ about 1 in 13 New Mexicans, and put those dollars back to work locally through jobs, rent, and services. From childcare and elder care to housing, food access, crisis response, and cultural events that generate over $528 million in economic activity, nonprofits support people at every stage of life and help make our communities livable, connected, and resilient.
