Artificial Intelligence is transforming our world, but it cannot replace the nonprofit sector because it cannot replace our compassion.
Considerations
AI holds significant promise for nonprofits by enhancing capacity and helping staff with time-consuming tasks. It also holds the hidden biases of its creators. AI has drawbacks, as it requires substantial resources and can contribute to climate change. Additionally, AI-generated content requires fact-checking and proofreading, as it sometimes creates made up "facts" and can exhibit awkward grammar.
